Strolling in the grocery store produce aisle can be an undesirable task.
Especially when you are trying to change your eating habits and have no earthly idea what you should be getting and where you should even start.
Well, just so you know; you probably should have started at home.
Before you even drag your insanely overwhelmed body and brain into the store with thousands of options leaving you with multiple:
"That looks good." face, or the
"Oh, I should try that." face,
and the most conspicuous of them all,
staring into someone else basket to see what healthy-looking items they have face.
I know, I know... it's happened to the best of us. I'm here to help.
Where To Start?
Changing eating habits to more plant-based eating is not about shaming or blaming yourself for any of the habits you have.

Start With What You Like
Now let's start with what you like. Based on the foods that you like find recipes and ways to make these foods in healthy ways.
There are so many options available online from people that have done a lot of the hard work for you:
These are just a few of my favorites that provide recipes for tasty meals in minutes.
Getting Comfortable, Now What
Once you start getting comfortable making meals you like. Refer back to your grocery list categories in the food you have never tasted.
Try looking up a few items that you think you may be interested in trying.
Hold Up, My Taste Buds Seem Different
After eating differently for a while you will notice your tongue palette changes.
When you are ready, revisit your list of foods you don't like. Try finding ideas and recipes that you think are look appetizing and see how it works out.
You might find that foods you hated as a child don't taste as bad as you remember.
Changing what you choose to put in your body is such a rewarding step in your journey. It's the first step in creating a balance of mind, body, and spirit.
